Your Favorite Twilight Memorabilia
I’m a big fan of the Twilight series and I’m so excited to see the movie. But I have doubts about it and I’m afraid it won’t live up to my expectations. Any thoughts?

You are definately not the only one who fears this. Although I can assure you, you have nothing to fear! Stephanie wouldn’t let her fans down and since she has seen clips of the movie and was actually on set for some shooting, i think it will be great.
Stephanie has seen some bad scripts for the movie and when she was given this one she agreed to let them try it out. Catherine Hardwicke and Stephanie are good friends and Catherine had Stephanie approve the script and the cast. I trust stephanie cuz she is the one who wrote the book.
If you are expecting the movie to match the book exactly then it won’t meet your expectations. As Robert pattinson said in an interview that there will be more action because the story is told from bellas perspective and a lot of the action happens when bella is unconsious. So the fight scene with James will be longer and I am sure that there will be more differences but really I think that if Catherine follows the story line and the plot that this movie will be excellent.

I don’t think it will be as good as the books. I do think it will be a very good movie though. The movies are never as good as the books though, but it’s only because of the editing. They have to cut so much out of the movie to cut the time down or you’re watching like a 7 hour movie, which I personally wouldn’t mind.
I do think that the movie is gonna be amazing though and it will be a very good seller. (I work at a movie theatre, business is exciting to me)
but I love the books so it will hopefully live up to the expectation.

I don’t think any movie can ever be as good as the book. Twilight movie should be really good though, I’ve seen youtube videos and all of the scenes look really close to the book. I also saw that they are adding a field trip scene. I also think it may be dissapointing because if you may picture some of the scenes in the book differently then in the moive. I heard a lot of people were upset with the cast. I thought they did a good job though picking out Edward and Bella.
Well, books and movies are two different mediums. They can’t fit a 500 page book into a 100 page screenplay so they have to condense it a bit. There were other people who wanted to make a movie out of Twilight, but their script wasn’t anywhere near close to the book! I think we should be grateful that Summit is making a movie out of Twilight and that they are staying as close to the book as possible.But don’t expect the movie to be EXACTLY like the book. That doesn’t mean it won’t be good though. Movies are never like the books. Books are always better of course because it’s more detailed. I am also excited to see the movie though. =)
I absolutly love the twilight series!! I am so looking forward to the movie aswell. I think the movie will be excellnent, it won’t be as detailed as the book, and it may be cut down a bit.

I think it will be a very good movie, just not as good as the book. Like for example, I watched the trailers for the movie and when it shows Laurent torturing Bella, Edward comes along to save the day, and starts fighting with him, when this doesn’t happen in the book. And also where Charlie says that one of the security guards had been killed by some sort of animal, this also never happened in the book. I think they will of added more fight scenes in to keep the viewers attention.

personally i pictured some of them wayy different.
but thats just me.
im still going to see the movie but idk I’ll prolly just make myself mad lol but oh well.

like in the movie they add things.
the cullens have family crests (like one has a ring another a braslet and another a necklace e.c.t)
and they have a scene when they are in a green house at a school trip.
it wont be as good, but i still CANNOT WAIT!
i love the books and the day it comes out going to see the first showing!
as much as i love the Twilight Series, i don’t think i will enjoy the movie as much as i loved the book =[

We all have doubts, but I think the movie will do the book justice..so far from what i’ve seen, it looks really good..but I’m not one of those people that are going to expect the movie to be exactly like the book either.

the movie will only be based on the book,so who knows what they changed,but, then again, stephenie meyer helped with it so i don’t think it will be too different. to me, any difference will make it thjat much less awesome,though.

I really like the Twilight books, too. They are changing some stuff from the book in the movie. They added some stuff, like they added a field trip, and stuff like that. I’m SOOO excited!! I think there will be some differences, but it will stick to the novel as best as it can. The good thing is that Stephanie was on set most of the time, so she approves, which is a plus. I think the casting is perfect, and I’m so excited to see it!
ya i think it will.. espechially since Stephenie Meyer was on the team of people that help make it and i’m sure she wouldn’t let her book get messed up

Yes i do. They added alot to the movie, instead of taking stuff out. They added another plot to it, and the scene were James tries to kill Bella is in there. So i think it will be just as good.
